American Idol Birthday Party

Photobucket

We organized a really fun American Idol Party for Triplets. The girls turned 6 years old and boy did they have a blast. Silly Sallys provided the gluten free catering for 80 people, the gorgeous decorations and the fabulous entertainment.

Take a look at the amazing decorations from black table cloths to hot pink feather boas. Our own Jenny designed backstage passes and cusomized them with each guests name for all the girls to wear. Kimberly made microphones for each of the rockstars. We found some really great old records to use as place mats.

Our D. J. played amazing upbeat music and Amy taught some cool dance moves. This was a groovy party which included some karaoke, dress up, hair and makeup, balloons and lots of American Idol style.

Santa Claus and Silly Sally at LAX !

Ho Ho Ho and away we go....on Dasher, on Dancer and Silly Sally too! Many school children were brought to The Los Angeles International Airport runway for a big Surprise. Silly Sally did a comedy show for You Know Who. Children participated in a Holiday Magic and Puppet show with lots of laughs.

Then after a sing-a-long of Holiday songs and a countdown, the Guest of Honor flew in, not on a sleigh but a helicopter! Silly Sally was jumping up and down along with all of the kids. What a cool surprise! Santa read The Night Before Christmas to all the good little boys and girls in our audience. Oh, there was even an airport security dog dressed as a reindeer who performed some tricks. So much Fun!

Silly Sally is so happy to have participated in the LAX Santa Fly In for several years in a row. Thanks to the neighborhood rotary clubs and to the airport museum. We love you Santa!

Silly Sally Visits Vista Del Mar!

Photobucket

Silly Sally's had the opportunity to visit Vista Del Mar, a school for children with special needs. Vista School offers youngsters from kindergarten through 12th grade a specialized learning environment that can help these students achieve. Vista Del Mar provides children identified with Autism, Aspergers and other learning disabilities or developmental challenges, as well as those experiencing social problems, emotional problems, behavior problems or other mental health issues, with classes that can meet their special needs while encouraging them to grow emotionally and academically. Vista Del Mar also provides children with shelter and works with foster parents.

Silly Sally's had so much fun performing out on the playground and doing facepainting for all the fantastic kids. The Silly Magic show wouldn't have been possibly without the help of the children. The kids felt so accompished when they got to personally help with the tricks. They absolutely beamed when they used their own unique magic to perform and entertain their peers. Not only did the children have so much fun, but after the show they felt empowered, like they could do anything.

Visiting this school was a very unique experience and it was very heart warming to see all of the children's faces light up with the biggest smiles. It was one of the most rewarding experience Silly Sally's has had this past year.

Night at the Museum with Silly Sally and Bopsy

Magic, magic, magic and laughs! The Peterson Automotive Museum invited us back to perform at the very cool annual Holiday Party. There were crafts and facepainting and balloon hats. We performed a very Silly Show with puppets and magic. This place is amazing. There are so many great cars from the past and the future. It is a wonderful place to host an event for kids of all ages. I highly reccomend you check it out for birthdays or corporate parties. The space is so unique and the staff is amazing. Our favorite Liv Amend is the children's event coordinator. She did such a great job organizing this very well attended Holiday party. We were so lucky to be part of the festivities. Thanks Liv!!!!!

Having a Company Holiday Party?

Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and Holly the Elf entertained for the McKinsey Company Holiday Party last weekend! Oh, what a joy was brought to all the boys and girls as Santa handed out the presents and Mrs. Claus painted beautiful faces. Who knew she was so artistic? And Holly the Elf sure can sing. Elizabeth Matson makes a great elf. Thanks to Nancy Grey and Arlin as Santa and Mrs. Claus. I am so proud of our entertainers and how talented they are! Tiz The Season To Be Silly!

How to get to Sesame Street

Photobucket

Recently, Silly Sally's didn't just find Sesame Street, we created our very own Sesame Street at one amazing party. This event is just perfect for children 2-4 years old.

Silly Sally's handled all of the decorations for this awesome party. There were brightly primary colored balloons with characters, flowers such as sunflowers and daisies and table decor to match. Colorful letters and numbers on the backs of the kids chairs enhanced the entire party scene. Stuffed characters, like Big Bird and Grover, decorated the buffet tables and each child's place setting. We made a giant cookie monster cookie toss balloon game too. The tables were adorned with Stop signs to give that real Sesame Street feel and we even had Oscar the Grouch's trash can specially brought in so the children could pose for pictures inside it as everyone's favorite crabby muppet. Also, as a special treat, Elmo stopped by to visit our Sesame Street bash. Everyone was all smiles and laughs as all the children got a chance to pose for pictures and dance with the most lovable red muppet.
