What's going on in Sillyville!

Here at Silly Sally’s we have a lot of new and exciting things going on! We had a fun visit to the Children’s Institute where we put on a silly show, made some amazing balloon hats, and painted the children’s faces. They were all so cute and everyone had a great time! Feeling Buggy?

I just had a great bug party for my son, and it was so cute! We had a "Sweet Grub" candy station with "Butterfly Fingers" (butterfingers), "Dragon Fly Dots" (Dot candy), gummy worms, sour worms, and "Bumble Bee Bubble Gum". There was also a buggy craft station. We had a dessert "dirt" in bug jars that the kids decorated as well as a ladybug cake and a caterpillar cupcake-cake. There were decorated bugs in the trees and on bamboo poles lining the walkway. This party would be great for kids 1 to 5 years. We can't wait to help plan another bug party!

Super Mario Brothers Party

We had a blast over the weekend at our super successful party. We had Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach join us for a great, interactive day. There was a make your own pizza station and decorate your own question mark boxes filled with gold coins. We all jumped on a Mario cart and had a race around the party. There were Mario theme games such as the "Goomba Hop", "Yoshi egg race" and "Bomb-omb" hot-potato. Each of the kids had a Mario mustache, and the Birthday boy got a personalized Mario Hat that he loved and wore all day! Our servers all dressed in traditional chef outfits, spoke with fun Italian accents and occasionally broke out in song with "That's Amore". We had "Mushroom Cupcakes" that looked like the mushrooms from the game. For music we had great up-beat re-mixed Super Mario music. For extra entertainment we had our bubble show and Super Mario theme face painting and balloon creation. This party would be perfect for kids ages 6 to 12. Super Mario Brothers

At Silly Sally’s we are really excited about our upcoming Super Mario Brothers Birthday Party. We are offering food, entertainment, party favors, and décor that are all inspired by the Super Mario Brothers!

The meal will include choices like Princess Peach Pasta, Super Leaf Salads, Wario Watermelon Slices, Piranha Plant Pizza, Super Mushroom Cupcakes, and Luigi Lemonade. For entertainment the kids will play a series of Super Mario games along with our Super Mario entertainers-Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. To make the party look Super Mario Brothers themed, Silly Sally’s will decorate the tables with Piranha Plant centerpieces, cover the walls in hand made décor and happy birthday banners, and place balloon bunches throughout the venue. After the party, the children will be given party favors such as Mario Brothers hats, Mario mustaches, and white gloves.

Superhero Birthday Party

Walk To Africa!

Here at Silly Sally’s we are really looking forward to the upcoming Walk To Africa event being held in Santa Monica. Our non-profit division, Sharing Smiles Project, will be entertaining and bringing smiles to everyone participating in the event. NEW ENTERTAINER! Aerialist/Contortionist

We are very excited to welcome our new entertainer, Tina, to Silly Sally’s! She is an aerialists/contortionist and is capable of doing spectacular things! Helping out at the Pier

Silly Sally's was very proud to be a part of The Annual Arthritis Walk to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation in Santa Monica on June 5th at the pier. After the walk, Silly Sally's team of entertainers was glad to provide face painting, balloon hats and lots of smiles to all the children and extra hard working walkers. The team had so much fun working for such a great cause, and they can't wait to help out again next year too!

This is just one of many events at the pier that Silly Sally's has had the opportunity to be a part of. Mad Hatter Tea Party!

Need an absolutely brilliant party idea? Try a Mad Hatter Tea Party! This party is not only beautiful, but incredible fun for everyone!

Silly Sally's transformed a park into Wonderland with tables set with gorgeous flowers, real tea pots and tea plates, flowers of all sizes decorating the area and lanterns hung over the table.

We had our own Mad Hatter and Mad March Hare present to play all sorts of games and help each child create their own Mad Hat to wear. This party is the perfect event that is sure to make everyone smile!

Alice in Wonderland Party

Preschool Shows and more!

Silly Sally's Events recently did a Preschool Show at the Claire Fountaine Bilingual French Preschool in Venice.

This is an amazing school for kids to learn both English and French. We had an opportunity to do a fun magic and puppet show for the monthly parent gathering.

We perform at preschools all over the LA area and would love to come to your child's school to do a show for their class.

Valentine's Day Cards

My 2 1/2 year old son and I just did a fun Valentines Day card art project. We used construction paper, photos, and crayons to make cute litte customized cards for family and friends. He made red dots and marks on everything and I cut the hearts and made little messages. He "helped" glue them on. He kept saying, "Thank you, mommy" He really was having fun!

At Silly Sally's Events we often send out holiday cards for our clients. If anyone needs help with beautifully hand crafted cards we would love to come help you. Just give us your list. We can even incorporate the kids as entertainment.

We just did a show for Shane's Inspiration. Their mission is to create Universally Accessible Playgrounds and programs that integrate children of all abilities socially, physically and emotionally, fostering acceptance, friendship and understanding.
